About Jeff Louderback

An award-winning writer, editor and publicist, Jeff Louderback started his career as a reporter and editor at newspapers and magazines before entering the public relations field. He now embraces the both of best worlds, writing personality profiles and human interest features for online and print publications; serving as founder and editor of All In Ohio (www.allinohio.com); and spearheading PR writing (press releases, articles, blog, and social media content) and media relations (generating local and national media coverage for entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations.

Simply put, Jeff is a writer, publicist, new media professional, on-air personality, and author.

Over the course of his 30-year career, Jeff has written a multitude of entrepreneur profiles on legends like Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas and restaurateur Bob Evans; personality profiles on sports personalities like Barry Larkin and sports broadcaster Dan Patrick; business trend features; health and wellness features; and travel and lifestyle features on destinations and attractions.

He is also an expert at developing newsworthy story angles, crafting journalistic-style press releases, communicating with the media to secure coverage, and writing and maintaining blog, Facebook and LinkedIn content.

There are few subjects that Jeff has not written about and industries in which he has PR experience.

Jeff has extensive experience writing about sports as well. He started his career as a sports writer for a daily newspaper in Ohio, where he covered high school, college, and professional sports (including the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals). He has written many freelance sports features for magazines, and served as a contributing editor for OverTime Magazine, a national business and lifestyle magazine for and about professional athletes.

A native of Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communication at Wright State University, Jeff served as a sports writer for the Xenia Daily Gazette, a features writer for Amos Suburban Newspapers and an editor for Small Business News before becoming editor and publisher of a regional pet care magazine that he started and built. His experience also includes a dual role as editor of a commercial real estate publication and assistant editor of a weekly business newspaper in Dayton.

Before opening his own writing and PR business, Jeff started the public relations division of what is now the nation’s largest restaurant marketing and public relations firm. He was director of media relations – crafting story angles; writing press releases and articles; generating coverage in local, regional and national media outlets; and implementing public relations campaigns – while helping build this firm.

After living in Florida for 13 years, Jeff returned to his native southwest Ohio in 2015 with his dog, Boston, to be close to family and work with clients in the Cincinnati/Columbus/Dayton region. Jeff and Boston live in Centerville/Washington Township. When he is not immersed in writing and PR, Jeff spends ample time hiking and embarking on day trips and weekend getaways with Boston; and playing and watching baseball and basketball. He also likes getting lost in a good movie. Shawshank Redemption and Field of Dreams are his favorites.
