PIVOT Group Coaching for Women set to debut in January 2020, providing synergy and support for life transitions

Dayton, OH – A small pivot can positively change your entire mindset and direction when experiencing a life transition. To give women guidance and direction in every stage of the life-changing transition, CDC Certified Divorce Coach® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® Debra Doak is debuting PIVOT Group Coaching for Women in January 2020.

Author of the recently released “High-Conflict Divorce for Women: Your Guide to Coping Skills and Legal Strategies for All Stages of Divorce,” Doak has led one-on-one divorce coaching and life transition coaching since 2016. PIVOT Group Coaching for Women will serve as a safe space to share with others who are experiencing similar struggles.

PIVOT, Debra explains, is specifically targeted to women who are thinking about divorce, struggling with betrayal in their relationship/marriage, striving to reclaim their power, or know they need to make a change in their life.

“With PIVOT, you get all the benefits of professional coaching plus support from a group of new friends who are all striving to move in a positive new direction,” Debra said. “On our own, life can get hard and feel overwhelming, but when women commit to be accountable and grow together, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

“I’m still close with the women I’ve met in groups over the years,” Debra added. “There’s something special about that bond that develops when you ride a life-changing rollercoaster together.”

PIVOT for Women will meet weekly via Zoom video. Each group is limited to 10 participants. There are two sessions:

Evening Session

Tuesdays 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST

Beginning January 14, 2020

Daytime Session:

Wednesdays 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST

Beginning January 15, 2020

“I’ve created this coaching program to explore the areas where I most commonly see strong women get stuck,” Debra said. “Stuck in indecision, stuck not speaking up, stuck feeling powerless, stuck not taking action.

“As we explore the kind of changes you want to make, we’ll discuss communication styles, boundaries, dealing with difficult people, managing strong emotions, and more,” Debra added. “Our ability to recognize healthy relationships, ask for what we need, and make decisions that are good for us depend on continuing to develop all these skills.”

As a Certified Divorce Coach® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Debra helps clients make confident emotional and financial decisions leading up filing a divorce, and through the entire process. Divorce is the second highest stressor for humans, second only to the death of a spouse, according to the Holmes-Rahe Stress Scale from The American Institute of Stress. Debra understands this first-hand as she has survived two divorces. PIVOT Group Coaching for Women represents her strategy in 2020 and beyond to reach a larger group of women who do not have the budget for one-on-one coaching.

“Self-discovery is the core of the coaching process. The group is present and listens deeply to help you uncover your own wants and needs – some of which you may have been ignoring or burying for years,” Debra said. “Then we serve as thinking partners to help you create a plan to make it happen so you can live the life you want.”
